After 17 years, the AAYBC will be welcoming new officers, Captains Fred and Debora Wong, to pastor and lead the church family. The Wongs’ welcome Sunday will be August 24, 2008.

Fred and Debora entered The Salvation Army Training School and were commissioned as officers in 1994. They have served in appointments as corps officers in Santa Monica, Eastmont, CA, Sierra Vista, AZ, and Rome, Italy. Captains Fred and Debora leave their current appointments in Italy as youth, candidates and training officer and War Cry editor/assistant youth officer, respectively.

Captains Fred and Debora have seven children: Xavier (16), Desiree (14), Shante (12), Jaene (10), Demiree (9), Alisee (6) and Josue (3).
