![]() Dear AAYBC Family and Friends, For 17 years, Keilah and I have enjoyed the privilege of pastoring the most wonderful church a pastor could imagine. The AAYBC is a church family which has grown from its beginnings in the basement of the SF Chinatown Corps to an Asian American Corps on Folsom Street, and finally here at Fourth Street combining with the Yerba Buena Chinese Ministry and the Senior Activity Center. We have married over 20 couples, dedicated countless babies, and conducted funerals. Through it all, we’ve served together, stretching and growing together in Christ. Yet with all growth, there must be change. So it is with mixed feelings that Keilah and I announce to you we have received our “marching orders” as The Salvation Army has appointed us as corps officers of the Pasadena Tabernacle Corps. The AAYBC Family welcomes Captains Fred & Debora Wong, officers returning with their seven children from missionary ministry in Italy. The Wongs have the one requirement needed to pastor the AAYBC family: they love God passionately and whole-heartedly. You will see it in their lives, their ministries, in their family and you will delight in growing together with their family. Keilah and I believe that God has prepared the AAYBC for this time and change. We have excellent lay leadership and we are financially sound. Moreover, we have seen the Holy Spirit stirring among you to “rise up” and minister to the church family, preparing us for new leadership and direction. We would not leave unless we felt God leading this new direction. We believe He is preparing to do a “new thing” here at the AAYBC to bring Him glory and we are excited to see what He has prepared for the future. The Toys’ last day with the AAYBC family will be July 13, 2008. We thank God for many good years together and the gift of being able to serve side-by-side with you. Be faithful, and do not stray from the path God has set before you. With thanksgiving to God, Ronald and Keilah Toy Majors ISAIAH 43:18,19 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." * To hear Majors Ron and Keilah Toy’s message of new change (May 18, 2008), click here. |

My Utmost For His Highest
'It is Finished!'The death of Jesus Christ is the fulfillment in history of the very mind and intent of God. There is no place for seeing Jesus Christ as a martyr. His death was not something that happened to Him— something that might have been prevented. His death was the very reason He came.Never build your
