Loren was finishing up a fairly mild case of the chicken pox. “When will I get chicken pox again?” he asked. “You won’t,” I answered. “You mean you get it only once in your life?” he wondered. “Yes.” He was silent for a moment while he processed this new knowledge along with everything else he had learned in his six years of life. Finally, he formed his last inquiry, “Then, when you get born again, will you get chicken pox again? “… those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
